We're excited to introduce to you the extraordinary and talented rap artist known by many as Blak Ace. Born and raised in Vancouver B.C., he's well known for producing Vancouver's Only Teen Night Club called PHIZZO and a hand full of underground hip hop and rap groups from 1998 until 2011.

 

His rap career started with an EP from his first rap group Da Congregation ( DCG ) 1998. His first full length album COLD WORLD was a collaboration between two rap groups he helped form called

Out Cold Players ( OCP ) and H.U. CLICK ( Hustalz Union ) 2001.

With his tenacious and relentless work ethic, he spent many years on the downtown streets selling his CDs, networking and honing his craft with a solo mix tape " ME, MYSELF & I " in 2004. With his first solo project under his belt, he was instrumental in forming his third rap group called T.R.U.B.L.E. 

( Three Riders United By Lifes Experiences ) in 2005.

After a brief hiatus, Blak Ace was reunited with his former group OCP, they were actively performing concerts opening up shows for headlining artists like FABOLOUS and PAUL WALL back in 2007. They produced an underground mix tape produce by After 6 Entertainment and spent several years promoting their music and performing through Vancouver's local scene.

In 2010 Blak Ace met producer and friend Keegan Clark from Aldergrove B.C. and they worked tirelessly on his first full length debut solo album called " Heavenz Gates " . He took his music creation and street hustle on tour in 2011 and spent the summer in Toronto promoting and selling CDs.

​

After a brief stint locked up, Blak Ace reappeared in the local hip hop music scene with an explosive return opening concerts for headlining artists like E40, JADAKISS and 2 LIVE CREW throughout 2012 and 2013. With a few new achievements under his belt, a new mindset and fresh focus. He developed and remastered " Heavenz Gates " in to a new EP that was accompanied by his debut music video "My Passion" produced by Starvin Marvel in 2015. The duo created three more music videos for the EP, "DIRTY" , "R.O.E." and "SiXohFoe" were release on YouTube in 2016 and 2017.

The music video " My Passion " was well received breaking 100K streams on YouTube. With this achievement in his back pocket, Blak Ace designed some new merchandise starting his clothing brand BLAK G3AR and took his Angelz N Demonz on tour throughout western Canada in B.C. and Alberta.

As the music industry shifted many artists were forced to make adjustments to stay relevant in the hip hop and rap industry. Social media's growth made content creation a major tool for artists, Blak Ace included. He worked on developing his online presence and following by creating two online events to engage his followers and fans. He created "The Transducer" and "BoPoCamp" two online contest involving rappers, models and social media influencers competing for a cash prize while wearing product designs by his the clothing brand BLAK G3AR in 2017.

After a some successful online events, Blak Ace returned his focus and attention back to music creation. Connecting with legendary music producer and long time friend DJ KEMO from the iconic hip hop group The RASCALZ. The pair carefully crafted Blak Ace's second solo music project the EP called "Blak Soulz" . Blak Ace's return to the recording booth was accompanied by his desire to bless the stage. He did exactly that with a monumental return by opening for headlining artist and superstar rapper TECH-9 in Kelowna early on in 2019.

With music videos streaming, BoPoCamp events growing and BLAK G3AR making the move to retail. Now would be the perfect time to officially release his second EP "Blak Soulz" for the fall of 2019. His music can be heard being shared in the content creations by BLAK G3AR's sponsored online events with the Body Positive Campaign.

In March 2020, the world as we knew it was changed forever by COVID19. With concerts and shows being placed on hold, artists were scrambling to adjust to our new reality. Like many other artists, during this time, Blak Ace stayed busy with online events, product design and started writing new music for his next project and EP called

"BlAk MaJiK" .

​

As the world recovered from COVID19, Blak Ace put the industry on notice with the release of his hit single "BlAk MaJiK" in 2022. The single grew in popularity amongst his audience reaching an amazing 35K streams on Spotify quickly becoming a fan favourite. It wouldn't be long before Blak Ace and DJ KEMO reunited to produce the second single and masterpiece from the "BlAk MaJiK" EP called "God Be With Ye" . An eclectic piece featuring a flawless beat produced by DJ KEMO, outstanding vocals from R&B singer B Diamond

and deep relationship lyrics delivered by Blak Ace. In 2024 he release "God Be With Ye" which was well received, currently playing on Spotify with 10K plus streams.

Not only is Blak Ace a talented rapper, artist and musician. He's also making waves as an entrepreneur building up his brand BLAK G3AR and promoting his music through content creation and online events with BoPoCamp.
